With FileWing you get a free multipurpose tool for the treatment of files in Windows, which serves both to recover files deleted by mistake, or to make sure no one can recover what you delete from your hard drive.

In terms of the recovery function, you can make FileWing track your hard drive, or portions thereof, for any deleted file that can be recovered, giving a detailed list to choose from, or trying to retrieve a file by hand that you know you've deleted.

The other FileWing utility, on the other hand, lets you mark any files (documents, images, videos, PDFs etc) for secure erasure, after which FileWing will overwrite several times, at random, in the areas of hard disk containing the file information, ensuring that no one can recover them at any time, or in any way.
